Built-in autonomous agent system that runs daily to incrementally improve SEO and GEO results for the Keepsake app.
The motivation behind the system was to pull search ranking data for competitors and keywords that we care about, see how we rank, and have agents go through and find the gaps and update our domain with blog posts and additional hyperlinks that would improve the results.
System
SEO. I pulled ranked keyword, keyword volume and difficulty, and live SERP data through DataForSEO API which was activated by a daily cron and also could be manually triggered. I manually kept a list of close competitors and important keywords we wanted to rank for like "caregiver pay", "caregiver benefits", and aging-related terms. Resulting output was the top search terms for each competitor, and top results for each keyword and my domain’s relative position.
GEO. Ran same queries against AI search and recorded whether Keepsake was
cited and which sources got cited instead. It also watched the page and did QA
to make sure llms.txt was correctly pulled and blog posts were emitting the
right JSON-LD.
